- Description: University of Illinois professor, Dr. Brian Quick, will provide a public lecture that will examine several organ donation initiatives aimed at encouraging registration for organ, eye, and tissue donation. These interventions are grounded in various persuasion theories and employ a range of strategies involving message, messenger, and medium. He will also highlight the cumulative impact these efforts have had on beliefs, attitudes, and registration rates among potential donors. The event is hosted by the Â鶹´«Ã½ School of Communication & Media and funded by the Wayne N. Thompson Endowment.
