- Description: The annual rock and mineral show in the ballroom of the
Â鶹´«Ã½ Student Union with dealers in rocks, mineral, fossils and jewelry. There will be educational displays featuring fluorite, the Illinois State Mineral, and barite. Demonstrators will be showing wire-wrapping, geode cracking, beads, jewelry and faceting.
New this year will be an escape room. It will feature a mine-themed room where participants have 30 minutes to solve various puzzles to save the preciousvmineral and "escape" the mine.
