Veteran Author to Speak at Â鶹´«Ã½ Sept. 23-24

MACOMB, IL – Author and veteran Bruce Lack will present poetry readings from his book, "Service Poems," at Â鶹´«Ã½ Illinois University Wednesday-Thursday, Sept. 23-24.
Lack will speak at noon Sept. 23 on the Â鶹´«Ã½-Quad Cities campus, in rooms 103 and 104 of the Riverfront Hall. His Sept. 24 talk begins at noon in the Multicultural Center's Multipurpose Room on Â鶹´«Ã½'s Macomb campus.
Lack will share his experience as a Marine Corps veteran during his transition home from a 21-month deployment to Iraq. His book will be available for purchase and signing.
The event is sponsored by the Â鶹´«Ã½ Foundation, the Disability Resource Center, Â鶹´«Ã½ Department of English, Â鶹´«Ã½-QC campus, University Libraries and Veterans Resource Center.
